My Favorite Things, cuarta parte

Any guesses about "cuarta parte"? You have probably already deduced that it means "part four", but what language is it? If you guessed Spanish, you are right on.

We continue our trip around the world by visiting more Starving Artists team shops to help me find my favorite things. A purchase from any of these shops will lead to your name being automatically entered into the draw to win the fabulous flower themed charm bracelet that resulted from a collaboration of team members. See here for all the important details (like photos of the bracelet).

Today's first stop brings us to Detroit, Michigan, USA where Kathy from Feathered Gems reminds us to Wag More, Bark Less. I love the humour displayed on this sterling silver bracelet and it's a good reminder, especially on challenging days.

Next we are off to Gloucestershire, England where Vanessa from Bead Up a Storm created this fabulous set of lampwork beads. I love the swirls of purple in this set. The swirls sort of remind me of a lava lamp. I was always fascinated by lava lamps.

Now we move on to Arizona, USA, from where Mme Magpie offers this elegant sterling silver wedding band. I love the pattern in the middle of this ring. It is beautiful and symbolic of the two lives that are being joined.

This pod pendant comes to us courtesy of Dianne Karg Baron in Oshawa, Ontario, Canada. I love how sleek and modern this piece is. And I'm fascinated by the engineering of the piece too.

Now we head south, to Paraguay, where Colla fabricated this fantastic malachite ring. The stone with its dark green bands is fabulous, and it is shown off so well with all the intricate piercings. It makes for a very unique ring.

Our final stop on this journey is in Brittany, France where Marina from Alegria Designs creates her fabulous pieces. This copper Viking weave bracelet is stunning. The lampwork glass beads and the maple leaf add wonderful pops of colour to a beautiful piece.
